Yuki Bhambri has won his first doubles title of the season with his partner Adrian Menendez-Maceiras from Spain in the final match of the ATP Challenger event. They defeated Sergey Betov and Mikhail Elgin 5-7 6-3 10-8 in a match that extended for one hour and 23 minutes.
Now the total number of doubles titles of Yuki has raised to five. This is the first win for him in the current season. Last year, he had won two titles, and one each in 2012 and 2013. This win has earned Yuki 90 points and he packeted 3,100 USD for his title win.
In the singles, Yuki had lost to Russian player Teymuraz Gabashvili in the quarterfinals. Yuki will play at the USD 50,000 Challenger in Samarkand next week.
