Expressions of Interest (EoI) and Information About the Project
An Expression of Interest has been sent out by the project’s lead organization, the Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Ltd., asking real estate developers to take part in building and running the AI city.
The government will give 40 acres in the Nadarganj Industrial Area to a developer of their choice and offer financial benefits such as one-time help with capital expenditures and stamp duty exemptions.
Building up infrastructure
The chosen real estate developer will build plug-and-play office infrastructure, such as a tower with Grade A office space for incubators, start-ups, and corporations. Creating a space where new ideas can grow is what’s expected.
Inclusive housing complexes and working together in the classroom
The AI city will have both high-end and low-cost housing buildings, encouraging people to walk to work. To support collaboration between business and academia, spaces will be set aside for the best engineering and management schools.
The plan also includes ways to get around inside the city that are powered by AI.

The Uttar Pradesh government wants the economy to grow to $1 trillion in five years. To do this, they see IT and ITeS as key areas for growth. The government is committed to making the AI city a success by providing financial support, smart land allocation, and regulatory help.
