UNDP to provide support for Arunachal Vision 2030

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will help in implementation of Arunachal Vision 2030 and Chief Minister’s Mission on Skill Development and Employment Generation in the state. A team from UNDP India will visit Arunachal Pradesh in October and finalise the modalities of collaboration.

UNDP India Programme Analyst -Dr Ruchi Pant,  suggested to explore other areas of collaboration with the state government including disaster management, medicinal plants, eco tourism development, bio diversity conservation.

Arunachal Vision 2030:

  • It will detail medium and long term development vision for the state encompassing six broad areas like enabling infrastructure, economic potential, social sectors, social harmony, border development, resource mobilisation.
  • Three committee were constituted:
    •  the cabinet committee
    • the committee of secretaries
    •  the committee of experts.
