Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has inaugurated a butterfly park from the Secretariat, Chennai. The park, constructed at an estimated Rs. four crore over 6.7 acres of land at the Arignar Anna Zoological Park at suburban Vandalur. The Park has a slew of features, including 200 species of plants and trees, and will have a conducive atmosphere for the butterflies.
