India’s Shubham Jaglan defeated Australia’s Jeffrey Yu Guan by one stroke to win the World Junior Golf Championship, held in San Diego, California. Shubham, who hails from Israna village in Panipat moved to Delhi to improve his game. He had finished second last year and was visibly excited with this victory.
The 47-year-old tournament draws top juniors from across the world. Shubham finished with seven-under-par 179, stroking 13 birdies over three days.
