India’s Ruthvika Shivani Gadde and Lakshya Sen have won the Women’s and Men’s singles titles respectively at the Sushant Chipalkatti Memorial India Junior International Badminton Championship. Ruthvika defeated Thailand’s Supamart Mingchua, 21-9 21-6 in just 26 minutes. Lakshya beat compatriot Chirag Sen 21-18 21-15 in a 27-minute clash.
In men’s doubles, Indian pair of Krishna Prasad Garaga and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy beat Thailand’s Warit Sarapat and Panachai Worasaktyanan 21-15 21-17 to win the crown. Indian mixed doubles combine of Chirag Shetty and Sanjana Santosh came second best after losing to top-seeded Indonesian pair of Ramadiansyah Andika and Mychelle Crhystine Bandaso 13-21 19-21 .
