The Reserve Bank has signed an agreement on information sharing with Bank of Botswana under the Supervisory Cooperation and Exchange of Supervisory Information. The MoU was signed by Andrew M Motsomi, Director of Banking Supervision on behalf of Bank of Botswana, and Parvathy V Sundaram, Chief General Manager-in-Charge, Department of Banking Supervision, of RBI.
RBI has entered into similar agreements with a few countries to promote greater co-operation and share supervisory information. With this, the Reserve Bank has signed 28 such MoUs, one Letter for Supervisory Co-operation and one Statement of Co-operation.
