Rajasthan inaugurates a Cow-urine refinery in Jalore

A cow-urine refinery has been inaugurated at Jalore, Rajasthan by the state’s medical and health minister Rajendra Rathore. The refinery will prepare cow-urine extract for use in the formulation of various products.

An MoU has been signed between Jodhpur’s Dr S Radhakrishnan Ayurveda University and the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at Bikaner. According to the minister, a by-product derived from cow-urine extract will be used for cleaning at the Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur.

The Rs. 4-crore refinery has been set up by Parthvimeda Gau Pharma Private Limited. While inaugurating, the Minister has asserted that cow urine has medicinal use for diabetic and heart patients. He also mentioned the outstanding benefits of panchgavya (cow’s five products) in agriculture and also treating human ailments.
