Mercer’s Quality of Living City Index ranks Pune 154th. Hyderabad is a bit ahead at 153rd, and Bengaluru is right behind at 156th. The 2023 ranking says that the top three cities in the world are Vienna (Austria), Zurich (Switzerland), and Vancouver (Canada).

New Delhi came in at 155, Chennai at 177, Bengaluru at 178, Hyderabad at 192, and Pune at 201, following Mumbai.
