Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the three-day 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan (World Hindi Conference) in Bhopal. The conference is being organised by the ministry of external affairs in cooperation with the Madhya Pradesh government. The World Hindi Conference that is being held in India after a gap of 32 years. The conference promise to expand the scope of the language which the Constitution and courts recognise as the official but not national language.
PM Modi said that it is the responsibility of every generation to protect, preserve their heritage and introduce it to next generations. The Prime Minister also released a commemorative stamp to mark the occasion. The external affairs minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for using Hindi during his speeches at international forums.
