Twenty years ago, Pinky Mehta was the first woman officer hired by Aditya Birla Group. Now Pinky Mehta is all set to become the First Woman Chief Financial Officer at the same Aditya Birla Group (ABG). She is going to take charge as the CFO Aditya Birla Nuvo (ABG’s holding company) in July.
ABG Chairman Kumaramangalam Birla said Mehta has the versatile ability to handle multiple roles and willingly accept new challenges. Pinky Mehta dedicated her success to her late father Jagdish Dharia.

- Mehta wanted to study MBA. But due to her family situation, she chose CA. She was studied at South Mumbai’s Fellowship School before opting for chartered accountancy.
- Mehta was part of the team that structured the acquisition of Madura Garments.
