India’s second largest state-owned oil explorer, Oil India Limited has commissioned a 54 MW wind energy project in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The project has been hampered between the two states. Gujarat will have a 16 MW capacity plant at Patan and Madhya Pradesh will have a 38 MW capacity plant at Chandigarh. The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 439 crore. ie Rs 126.5 crore for Patan plant and Rs 312.45 crore for Chandigarh plant.
