National Awards for Senior Citizens 2015

President Pranab Mukherjee conferred the National Awards for Senior Citizens 2015. A 91-year-old Leelaben Chhabildas Gurjar from Gujarat has conferred with iconic mother award for successfully bringing-up her children despite great odds. Besides her, ten other individuals, including a 104-year-old man from Haryana, were presented with ‘National Awards for Senior Citizens 2015’ by the President for their outstanding contribution for the welfare of the senior citizens.
