World champion Magnus Carlsen has won the Shamkir Chess International tournament for the second time by defeating Azerbaijani Chess Grandmaster Rauf Mamedov in the ninth and final round. Former world champion and Indian Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand finished second by managing a draw against American-born Italian Chess Grandmaster Fabiano Caruana.
