Lt General NPS Hira appointed Chief of Staff Northern Command

Lieutenant General NPS Hira, Commander of Vajra Corps, has been appointed as Chief of Staff Northern Command at Udhampur. General Hira made contributions to operational and administrative preparedness of Vajra Corps during his tenure. An an alumnus of the National Defence Academy (NDA) Khadakwasla, Lt General Hira was commissioned in the Sikh Light Infantry Regiment on 16 December 1978.
