Lopamudra Raut , the second runner-up at Miss United Continents 2016

Lopamudra Raut has bagged the second runner-up spot at Miss United Continents, which was held in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Jeslyn Santos from Philippines won the title of Miss United Continents.

Lopamudra Raut is an Indian model and beauty queen from the state of Maharashtra . She was born and brought up in Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra. She completed her schooling in her hometown.She acquired her degree in Mechanical engineering by graduated from G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering and Management

Lopamudra participated in Femina’s regional pageant of Goa in 2013 and was first runner-up. It gave her an direct entry to participate in Femina Miss India 2013, where she was a finalist. She participated in Femina Miss India 2014 where she won the subtitle Miss Body Beautiful and made it to the top 5.

Lopamudra received a cash prize of USD 15,000. She also won the Best National Costume sub-contest which was designed by Melvyn Noronha.

“I still can’t believe that I have won the Miss United Continents title of second-runner up. I feel immensely proud and ecstatic. I am very happy for the support of my family, friends and fans that supported me through this journey,” Lopamudra said.

Previously, India’s Gail Nicole D’Silva won first runner-up at Miss United Continents 2014 and Sushrii Shreya Mishraa was crowned third runner-up at Miss United Continents 2015.
