Kalyana Rama is new CMD of CONCOR

V Kalyana Rama has taken over as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR), a navratna PSU under Railways Ministry.Prior to this, he was serving as Director (Projects & Services), CONCOR since June 2015.

  • Having worked in BHEL, BHPV before joining Indian Railways, Rama has held various challenging assignments in his career with Indian Railways and CONCOR, said a statement issued by CONCOR.
  •  CONCOR is a network of 64 terminals, offering scheduled and on demand rapid rail and road services between the hinterland and ports, and between terminal across the country.
  • “Rama has wide experience of Engineering, System design, Railway and multi modal operations and Project planning and commissioning,” the statement said. Rama, a mechanical engineer, was also the CEO of Infinite Logistic Solutions, a JV of Reliance Logistics Private Ltd and CONCOR.
