British driver Justin Wilson has died after being struck by flying debris and suffering a serious head injury on 24th August 2015 in a Pocono IndyCar 500 race. Wilson was 37. Wilson was struck in the helmet by a large piece of debris bouncing around on the track after the crash of race leader Sage Karam and consequently died. He is survived by his wife, Julia, and young daughters Jane and Jessica.
