India just released the “Fauna of India Checklist Portal,” which is a big step toward saving animals. India is the first country in the world to record all of its wildlife, with this list of 1,04,561 species. On the 109th Foundation Day of the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI), the launch took place in Kolkata. The event was led by Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav.
