Bayern have been crowned champions of Germany, after closest rivals Wolfsburg fell to a 1-0 defeat at Borussia Monchengladbach on 26th April 2015. That pushed Bayern 15 points clear of Wolfsburg, with the latter having five matches remaining.
Dieter Hecking’s Wolves needed to win at the Borussia Park to delay the coronation of Die Roten for another week, but Max Kruse’s 91st minute winner – nudging a left-footed effort past Diego Benaglio – ensured a 25th German title for the Bavarians.
