Hockey India signed three years partnership with Sports Authority of India

Hockey India on 28th October 2015 signed a three-year partnership with Sports Authority of India (SAI). SAI as a part of its commitment will invest in innovative programmes, developing India as a world class hockey nation. They have signed 3 years of Memorandum of Understanding(MOU).

As per the terms of agreements, SAI will promote hockey, which is amongst the world’s most popular sports, as a tool for youth development and excellence in sports.
SAI also aims to help HI strengthen its coach development programme by providing domestic coaches with internationally recognised hockey coaching courses and license certification to the National Institute of Sports (NIS) students
