According to the report compiled by business magazine Forbes, HDFC has ranked Seventh in the world’s biggest consumer financial services firms, after giants like American Express, Visa and Mastercard. It is the only Indian company among the world’s top 10.
Forbes magazine has compiled a list of 2,000 biggest and most powerful companies globally. Among the 2000, a total of 56 companies are from India. The overall ranking of HDFC is 485 and Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries has been ranked at 142nd overall position.
