The government of India has launched an online portal for job seekers in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. The portal – www.eex.dcmsme.gov.in – will also help the industry to find skilled manpower. The portal was inaugurated by Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Minister Kalraj Mishra. The portal provides a platform for skilled hands where they can find livelihoods.

The Minister said the portal would also help industry reduce time and cost of searches for skilled manpower. He also added the ministry has developed the portal in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of Digital India, Skill India and Make in India.

The MSME sector provides employment to a large section of population and contributes about 45 per cent in the country’s total exports and about 40 per cent in the manufacturing sector.
