The government on 22nd April 2015 approved three highway projects with a total cost of Rs 5,150 crore in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra with the total length of more than 300 km and with an approximate cost of Rs 5,150 crore.

- The total length of the road will be approximately 69.84 km.
- All the three projects are to be implemented on BOT (toll) model.
- The CCEA also approved four-laning of the Solapur-Bijapur section of National Highway 13 in Maharashtra and Karnataka.
- The three highway projects costs of Rs 5,150 crore.
The second project connecting Agra with Etawah on NH 2 will improve the connectivity in an otherwise infrastructure deficient area in Uttar Pradesh,” the statement said. This will help catalyse the economic development of the region, an official statement said.
