Google has tied up with Archaelogical Survey of India (ASI) for 360 degree virtual tour of 280-odd monuments across the country.American Multinational Company Google tied up with Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to provide 360 degree virtual tour of 280-odd monuments across the country.

  • Some of the famous monuments include Taj Mahal, Victoria Memorial and Hampi. The reports revealed that out of 280 monuments, 30 monuments are in West Bengal.
  • Google has come up with variety of products for their users in India including offline view of maps, live traffic alerts and unknown places on the Google map.
  • Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is the organization that comes under Ministry of Cultures. It protects the cultural heritage of the world and controls all archaeological activities in the country.
