Ganga Ram Agarwal appointed new Railway Board Secretary

Ganga Ram Agarwal has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Railway Board.  Ganga ram Agarwal succeeded PC Gajpiyae who has  attained the age of superannuation.

About Ganga Ram Agarwal

  • He was an officer of Indian Railway Services of Electrical Engineering (IRSEE).
  • Agarwal was working as Chief Electrical Enginee in Central Railway prior to this posting.
  • He has worked in different capacities in railways and has wide experience of handling suburban operation and also handling major projects including completion of DC to AC conversion of critical section up to Mumbai CST.
