Eager Lion, a military drill hosted by Jordan and attended by 18 nations has come to an end with a joint drill on May 18. Military forces from countries like Pakistan, Jordan, France and the U.S. have participated in the drill in the coastal city of Aqaba. A total of 10000 troops have taken part in the exercise. The exercise was held among five sites across Jordan.

The annual multi-nation drill has been conducted since 2011. It involves troops from five different continents.  The drill provides an opportunity to promote cooperation and inter-operability among participation forces, build functional capacity, practice crisis management, and enhance readiness.
