Dubai won the prestigious Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Destinations Award 2024 for being the best place to visit in the world for the third year in a row.

This is an important step in history; Dubai is the first city to do something like this twice in a row. The news comes on the same day as the first anniversary of the D33 Dubai Economic Agenda, which aims to make Dubai a world-class city for both business and pleasure.

Tripadvisor, the biggest travel advice site in the world, announced the award. This is a big deal because the winners are chosen by the reviews of millions of tourists around the world who are part of Tripadvisor’s community.

The reviews look at the amount and quality of feedback on hotels, restaurants, and experiences in each location for a year, from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023.

Dubai’s many wins as the world’s best vacation spot show how exciting its attractions are, along with its excellent infrastructure and service. Tourism, which makes up more than 10% of Dubai’s GDP, is a big part of the city’s economic growth.

This is because the city’s government and private sectors work together all the time, combining local talent with foreign investment.

Dubai is ranked No. 2 in the world by Euromonitor International’s Top 100 City Destinations Index 2023. It has also been praised on Tripadvisor.

The Institute for Urban Strategies in Japan, which is part of the Mori Memorial Foundation, says it is one of the top 10 towns in the Global Power City Index.

Numbeo also named the UAE, which is home to Dubai, the second safest country in the world in 2023. This adds to Dubai’s appeal as a top global liveability hub with a unique way of life and high safety standards for tourists.
