Sanjay Gadhvi, a well-known Indian director, passed away unexpectedly on November 19th, taking with him an important creative force for the film industry.

Sanjay Gadhvi is his son. At the 2007 Stardust Awards, Gadhvi was recognized as the “Hottest Young Filmmaker” for his work on the film Dhoom 2 (2006).

Dhoom: The Legacy of

The year 2000 marked the beginning of Gadhvi’s career as a film director with the release of “Tere Liye,” but it was his third film, “Dhoom,” that propelled him to popularity.

The success of the film paved the way for a sequel, “Dhoom 2,” which was released in 2006 and received widespread critical praise. The film featured a star-studded ensemble, including Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Bipasha Basu.

The Development of Dhoom

The first two films in the “Dhoom” trilogy were directed by Gadhvi, while Vijay Krishna Acharya was in charge of directing the film that was released in 2013 and was the third film in the franchise.
