Dedicated E-Commerce Centre of India Posts launched in New Delhi

Union Communication and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad have launched a dedicated E-Commerce Centre of India Posts, a postal system fully operated by Government at Safdarjang, New Delhi. The main objective of launching this centre is to cater the e-commerce business enterprises. This project is implemented by the Department of Posts, through Delhi Postal Circle.

The processing centre is capable of handling 30000 parcels (articles) per day. It will handle all the e-commerce business. It should be noted that e-commerce business in India has been growing like anything. The center is also facilitating immediate processing as well as dispatching within 24 hours to the destination. For this purpose, the centre will use all possible quickest transportation facilities like flights or trains. Across the world, e-commerce businesses have grown rapidly along with the internet, so it is important for them to appease their customers and make them come back time and time again to buy their products, which means that their delivery has to be one of the best for them to keep business going. Whether they are searching for a freight quote or plan to have their products hand delivered by a specific service, they need to feel secure in their choice.

The leading e-commerce customers, Yepme, Amazon, Snapdeal, Paytm, etc are using this newly established e-commerce Centre for processing their e-commerce parcels. Companies need to make sure that they are doing what they can to cater to their customer’s needs, that is why using a parcel processing center like this will help them reach their goals and provide the proper support. Not only should this be taken into account, but they also need to factor in how they market their services to their customers for them to buy these products. To help this along, they need to be ‘focused on other forms of what do marketing agencies do‘, for example, so they can re-evaluate themselves and see where else they can tweak their marketing efforts to garner a positive response.
