1. Ayushman Bhav Programme

2. Semicon India 2023
‘Semicon India 2023’ is all set to emerge as a prestigious platform, celebrating India’s prowess in the semiconductor domain.
Scheduled to be held in Gandhinagar on July 28, the event promises to bring together leading companies, policymakers, and industry stalwarts to showcase India’s remarkable progress in the semiconductor sector.

Foxconn, Micron, AMD, IBM, Marvell, Vedanta, LAM Research, NXP Semiconductors, and STMicroelectronics are some of the distinguished participants who will grace ‘Semicon India 2023.’

3. Talisman Sabre Exercises 2023
Australia and the United States have initiated the Talisman Sabre joint military exercises, a large-scale show of force and unity involving more than 30,000 troops and participants from 11 other countries.
Held every two years, this year’s drills mark the largest gathering of military personnel yet. The exercises come at a crucial time when China’s assertive influence in the Indo-Pacific region is on the rise.
4. Twitter replaces iconic bird logo with ‘X’
Elon Musk, owner of Twitter launched the new logo of Twitter ‘X’ by replacing the iconic bird logo. The “X” logo has been in the pipeline for a while with Musk’s strong want of an “everything app”.
Before he bought Twitter for $44 billion, Musk described the platform as “an accelerant to creating X, the everything app” – something he plans to launch eventually.

Elon Musk announced on 23rd July that he has a plan to change the logo of twitter and by following his announcement on Monday morning he replaced the iconic bird logo with a white ‘X’ with black background.
The domain X.com is now being redirected to Twitter.
5. Lokesh M take charges as CEO of NOIDA
Newly-appointed Noida Authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lokesh M took charge and held a meeting with officials. The CEO highlighted that industrial growth and a better public hearing system would be his key priorities.
2005-batch IAS officer Lokesh M has been appointed as new CEO of Noida Authority after former CEO Ritu Maheshwari was transferred to as Divisional Commissioner Agra.
After taking charge, the new CEO held a press meet where he said that his focus will be on building a better public hearing system and addressing issues of allottees, farmers and citizen grievances.
6. India hands over INS Kirpan to Vietnam in landmark move
Indian Naval Ship Kirpan, a corvette that served the Indian Navy for 32 years, has been decommissioned and handed over to the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) in a ceremony held at Cam Ranh, Vietnam.
The momentous occasion marked the first time India has transferred a fully operational corvette to a foreign country.
The handover of INS Kirpan signifies the deepening defence ties between India and Vietnam.
India has consistently bolstered its defence partnership with Vietnam, reflecting the shared concern about China’s growing maritime power in the Indo-Pacific region.
7. Hungarian GP: Verstappen hands Red Bull record 12th straight win
Max Verstappen won the Hungarian GP at the Hungaroring, by a comfortable 33.731 secs margin over McLaren’s Lando Norris.
Verstappen’s lead at the top of the standings grows to an even more gargantuan 110 points, and the Dutchman seems firmly on course to pick up a second world championship in a row.
Teammate Perez also furthered his advantage over third place man Fernando Alonso, who finished a disappointing ninth in Hungary.
8. Algeria applies to join BRICS, would contribute $1.5 bln to group bank
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune announced that Algeria has formally submitted an application to join the BRICS group of nations.
The move aims to create new economic prospects for the oil and gas-rich nation in North Africa, as it seeks to diversify its economy and strengthen ties with countries like China.
In its bid to join the BRICS group, Algeria has not only submitted an application but also sought to become a shareholder member of the BRICS Bank.
The nation has pledged a substantial contribution of $1.5 billion to the bank, a move aimed at reinforcing its position and influence within the bloc.
9. Justice Ashish Jitendra Desai Takes Oath As Chief Justice Of Kerala High Court
In a formal ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Justice Ashish Jitendra Desai took the oath as the 38th Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Chief Justice, signifying the commencement of his tenure.
He was previously a Judge of the Gujarat High Court and served as the senior-most Judge of that court, also temporarily performing the duties of the office of Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court.
10. Justice Alok Aradhe took oath as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court in Hyderabad
Justice Alok Aradhe sworn in as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court on 23rd July by governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at an event held at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Justice Alok Aradhe succeeded Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, who was elevated as the judge of the Supreme Court.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, and some of his cabinet colleagues were present at the searing-in ceremony of Justice Alok Aradhe including K Kesava Rao and Nama Nageswara Rao.
TPCC President A Revanth Reddy, public representatives, bureaucrats and other prominent members of the judiciary attended the event.
11. World Drowning Prevention Day is observed on July 25
World Drowning Prevention Day is marked each year on July 25 with the objective of increasing awareness about the devastating and enduring consequences of drowning on families and communities, as well as educating people about crucial methods to prevent such incidents.
12. Admiral Lisa Franchetti becomes first woman to lead US Navy
US President Joe Biden has nominated Admiral Lisa Franchetti to lead the US Navy.
If confirmed by the Senate, Franchetti would become the first female member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, which consists of chiefs of the Army, Navy, Air Force and others.
Lisa Marie Franchetti is a United States Navy admiral who serves as the 42nd Vice Chief of Naval Operations since September 2022 and currently nominated as the first woman to lead US Navy.
13. World Brain Day 2023 is observed on June 08
World Brain Day, also known as International Brain Day, is a worldwide healthcare event that takes place annually on July 22.
