Lewis Hamilton Celebrates his victory in Italian F1 Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton’s celebrates his 40th career victory on 06th September 2015( Italian Grand Prix). He has been confirmed as the winner of the Italian Grand Prix after stewards rules his car was NOT illegal, despite a post-race stewards inquiry. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel was second as Rosberg suffered an engine failure with three laps to go.
China and Pakistan launch joint Shaheen (Eagle) – 4 Air Drill
Shaheen (Eagle)-4, a joint drill between the air forces of China and Pakistan has began in China. The Chinese contingent includes fighter jets, fighter bombers and early warning planes while its Pakistani counterpart dispatched fighter jets and early warning planes. The joint exercise is part of a series of military exchange programs between the two air forces.
PIO girl, 12, has better IQ than Einstein
A 12-year-old British girl is brainier than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking according to the IQ test recently. Nicole Barr scored a perfect 162 on her Mensa IQ test, two points higher than the two legendary scientists. The score puts her in the top 1% of the brightest people on the planet. Hawking, Einstein and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who are all thought to have an IQ of 160.
Andhra Pradesh signs MoU with TISS for employment of students
Andhra Pradesh government has signed an MoU with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) to increase employability of students in the state. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Visakhapatnam. The MoU envisages implementation of programme activities of state government’s flagship initiative of Andhra Pradesh University Students Employability Skill Development Programme.
Government to develop Bodh Gaya as Spiritual Capital
Describing Bodh Gaya as the “land of enlightenment”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the government would develop the site as the spiritual capital for it to serve as a civilisational bond between India and the Buddhist world.
Ruthvika, Lakshya win Junior International Badminton Championship
India’s Ruthvika Shivani Gadde and Lakshya Sen have won the Women’s and Men’s singles titles respectively at the Sushant Chipalkatti Memorial India Junior International Badminton Championship.
In men’s doubles, Indian pair of Krishna Prasad Garaga and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy beat Thailand’s Warit Sarapat and Panachai Worasaktyanan 21-15 21-17 to win the crown.
