1. Andrei Belousou appointed as the new Defense Minister of Russia

Andrei Belousau took over as Defence Minister from Sergei Shoigu when Vladimir Putin became president of Russia.

Andrei Belousou, who is 65 years old, was Deputy Prime Minister before. This is interesting.

In the past, he worked as President Putin’s economic adviser.

He has been in charge of the Defence Ministry since 2012, but he has never been in the military.

2. Aman Sehrawat becomes 1st Indian Male Wrestler to qualify for Olympics

Aman Sehrawat is the first Indian male wrestler to get a spot in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

At the World Wrestling Olympic Qualifiers in Istanbul, Turkey, Sehrawat, the Asian winner in the men’s 57 kg freestyle category, earned a spot in the Paris Olympics.

3. Mahindra & Mahindra Sign MoU with MSDE for ‘Drone Didi’ Pilot Project

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has signed an MoU with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd to run two Pilot Projects under the Drone Didi Yojana.

Modi has been politically active since he was a child. He took part in the JP Movement against the Emergency and the Bihar Student’s Movement in 1974.

During the Emergency, he was jailed several times for protesting.
