1. PM Modi receives Bhutan’s ‘Order of the Druk Gyalpo’

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi began a two-day state visit to Bhutan. This comes as both countries are working to overcome their border issue and Beijing is trying to forge diplomatic ties with the Himalayan kingdom.

The declaration that India will increase its support for Bhutan’s thirteenth five-year plan from five thousand to ten thousand crore rupees was made during the visit.
