1. Vikram Misri Appointed India’s New Foreign Secretary

VIKRAM MISHRI, who is currently the Deputy National Security Advisor, will become the Foreign Secretary on July 15. This was revealed by the government on June 28. Mr. Misri, who used to be India’s ambassador to China, will take over for Vinay Mohan Kwatra as Foreign Secretary.

Vikram Misri, IFS (1989), who was Deputy National Security Advisor in the National Security Council Secretariat, has been named Foreign Secretary (in place of Shri Vinay Kwatra) as of July 15, 2024. This was announced by the Personnel Ministry. Mr. Misri, who is known for being an expert on ties between India and China, is likely to pay special attention to the ongoing problems between Delhi and Beijing.

About Vikram Misri

He was born on November 7, 1964, and is an Indian minister. He became India’s 35th Foreign Secretary in July 2024, taking over from Vinay Mohan Kwatra. Before, from January 1, 2022, when he took over for Pankaj Saran, he was India’s Deputy National Security Advisor until July 14, 2024. On the other hand, he was India’s ambassador to China from January 2019 to December 2021.

2. National Statistics Day 2024 – June 29

6. Denmark Set to Impose World’s First Carbon Tax on Gassy Cattle

Denmark wants to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 70% from what they were in 1990 by the year 2030.

9. Pench Tiger Reserve launches first advanced AI System for forest fire

An innovative artificial intelligence system has been implemented at the Pench Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra for early detection of forest fires. In addition to having a viewing range of fifteen kilometers, this cutting-edge device is equipped with a camera that has a high resolution.
