1. Dr. Nikesh Jain Madhani honored at Glamour & Lifestyle Award 2024
Mr. Nikesh Jain Madhani, a prominent figure in the business world, was presented with a prestigious award by the actresses Mahima Chaudhary and Preeti Jhangiani.

2. International Day of Sport for Development and Peace: 6th April
This day has been set aside to honor the great impact that sports and physical activity have had on the lives of individuals and communities worldwide.
The United Nations General Assembly announced on August 23, 2013, that the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace will be observed annually on April 6th during April.

People knew libraries were still important even as the internet grew. Online, you can find some things, but many people still like going to libraries to read books and hang out with other users.
4. Bilquis Mir: The First Indian Woman on the Paris Olympics Jury
Bilquis Mir, a canoeist from Jammu and Kashmir, will be the first woman from India to serve on a jury for her country at the Summer Olympics in Paris.
An official letter from the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) to the J&K government announced this important position.
Getting Past Limits
Bilquis Mir’s path to the Olympic jury shows how determined she is and how much she loves the sport. When she was young, she learned to boat on the famous Dal Lake and went on to represent India.
Even though it was hard for Mir, a Kashmiri girl, to get into sports, especially ones that weren’t very popular, like kayaking, she kept at it and found her true calling.
5. National Handmade Day 2024 is observed on April 06
National Handmade Day is celebrated every year on the first Saturday of April. In 2024, that date will be April 6, 2024. It is the job of this day to respect, appreciate, and recognize the skilled people who make things by hand.

6. Meenesh Shah Elected as Chairman of NCDFI
The new Board of Directors has been chosen by the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Ltd. (NCDFI), which is the largest dairy cooperative in the country.
After the voting, Dr. Meenesh Shah was picked by everyone as the new Chairman of the group.
Election Process That Is Easy
The election was run by Praveen Chaudhary, IAS, who is the District Collector of Anand and also serves as the Returning Officer.
Before the votes for the Board, on April 4, 2024, the NCDFI General Body chose eight directors for the Board without any opposition.
Notes on NCDFI
Registered on December 7, 1970, NCDFI is the top dairy cooperative in the country. This organization works based on the Multi-State Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023.
The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) is an Institutional Member of the group, which has 20 Regular Members and 14 Associate Members.
