Directions (Q. 1–5): Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions.
A word and number arrangement machine is given an input line of words and numbers, it arranges them following a
particular rule in each step. The following is an illustration of an input and its rearrangement. (All the number is two digit numbers):
Input: person immediate determined exactly circle opposite 60 75 80 30 10
Step I: determined person immediate exactly circle opposite 60 75 80 10 30
Step II: determined person circle immediate exactly opposite 75 80 10 30 60
Step III: determined person circle immediate opposite exactly 80 10 30 60 75
Step IV: determined person circle immediate opposite exactly 10 30 60 75 80
and step IV is the last step of the above arrangement. As per the rule followed in the given steps, find out the
appropriate steps for the given input.

2) if only conclusion II follows.
3) if either conclusion I or II follows.
4) if neither conclusion I nor II follows.
5) if both conclusion I and II follow.
(11–12):
Statements: Some groups are sets. No set is a solid. All solids are liquids.

11. Conclusions: I. Some sets are definitely not liquids. II. Some solids are not groups.

14. Conclusions: I. All hot being pair is a possibility. II. All cold being clean is a possibility.

15. Statements: Some gels are ink. All ink are liquid No liquid is solid.

Conclusions: I.
All solid being gel is a possibility. II. All gel being liquid is a possibility.

Answers with Explanations:

The machine rearranges one word and one number in each step. Words are rearranged from left and numbers are rearranged from right. Words are rearranged according to the decreasing order of their length. First the words starting from consonants are rearranged according to the decreasing order of their length then the words starting
from vowels are rearranged according to the decreasing order of their length. Numbers are rearranged according to the ascending order.
