Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), India’s largest engineering and manufacturing company has commissioned the fourth 600 MW unit of the OP Jindal Super Thermal Power Project (STPP) ExtensionPP located at Tamnar in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. BHEL has already added three units of 600 MW aggregating to 1,800 MW capacity in the state of Chhattisgarh in the last three months. BHEL has also earlier successfully executed 4 units of 250 MW each at Raigarh, which are in operation since 2007.
