Rajeev Shukla has been re-appointed as the Chairman of the highly influential Indian Premier League (IPL) governing council by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). His appointment has put an end to the month-long suspense over the selection of the top position of the Cricket league. Earlier Shukla had lost the BCCI elections for the treasurer’s post to Anirudh Chaudhary. The other persons who were in considerations include former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, Ajay Shirke and Ranjib Biswal.
