The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the venues that will host the men’s and women’s ICC World T20 2016. The  event will be played in India from 11th-3rd April, 2016. While the Eden Gardens in Kolkata will host the event finale. Other venues shall be Bengaluru, Chennai, Dharamshala, Mohali, Mumbai, Nagpur and New Delhi will be the venues for the matches.

The BCCI has constituted a Managing Committee for the ICC World Twenty20 comprising of the following members:

• President of BCCIMr. Jagmohan Dalmiya would be the chairman of this committee along with the following members;
  1.   Mr. Anurag Thakur, convenor and Hon. Secretary, BCCI
  2. Mr. Amitabh Choudhary, Hon. Joint Secretary, BCCI
  3. Mr. Anirudh Chaudhry, Hon. Treasurer, BCCI

  5. Mr. Rajeev Shukla, Chairman, IPL
  6. Mr. Ashish Shelar, Vice President, Mumbai Cricket Association
