Bank of Baroda launches ‘Chillr Mobile App’

Bank of Baroda (BoB) has launched the Chillr Mobile app, in the process becoming the first public sector bank to partner with Chillr. The app, which is directly linked to customers’ bank accounts, will allow them to transfer money instantly to any of the contacts in their phonebook. Chillr is an offshoot of Kochi-based technology firm MobME. Two-and-a-half lakh users have successfully linked their bank accounts with the app and more than five lakh transactions have been made till now.

This app is presently made available on Android platform for fund transfer and will be made available for IOS and Windows platform shortly. Utility bill and merchant payments on Chillr app will be enabled for Bank of Baroda customers soon.
