Introduction:
At the ceremony known as The Power of One Award 2023, which was organized by the Diwali Foundation USA, the former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon, was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award in the United States.
A world that is peaceful and secure for everyone is the recipient of these honors, which are given to individuals who have helped to establish this world. These awards are often referred to as the “Oscars of diplomacy.”
Ambassador Mirsada Colakovic, who served as the former permanent representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Nations, Ambassador Kim Sook, who served as the former permanent representative of South Korea to the United Nations, and Miroslav Lajcak, who served as the 72nd president of the United Nations General Assembly and as the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, are among the other recipients of this award.
