UK Reopens Iran Embassy after 4 years

Iran has  reopened its embassy in London and the British embassy in Iran has reopened, nearly four years after the mob attack. The UK embassy was closed in 2011 after it was stormed by protesters during a demonstration against sanctions. Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond attended a ceremony in Tehran with Iranian diplomats to mark the reopening. He has become the first British foreign secretary since 2003. Hammond called the 2011 attack on the embassy a low point, but added relations had improved since the election of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
