IIT-Hyderabad Ranked 12th in NIRF 2024

The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) has received significant recognition in the 2024 National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings. It climbed to 12th place in the top 100 overall category, improving from 14th place in 2022 and 2023. IITH is now the highest-ranked institution from Telangana. Other institutions from Telangana in the overall rankings include the University of Hyderabad at 25th place and Osmania University at 70th place.

Osmania University (OU) achieved the following rankings in 2024:

  • 43rd among the top 100 universities
  • 6th among the top 50 state public universities

The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H) was ranked 74th among the top 100 universities.
