Equating Money with Happiness

In the capitalistic world in which we live, we value money and achievement above all else. We think that if someone is rich, that person is somehow better than the guy that is not. However, that simply isn’t true. Money does not equal happiness. For example, a McDonald’s worker may be extremely happy doing what he does and living the life he has, while the millionaire on the other side of the tracks is lonely and sad. Having money is definitely nice, but it isn’t what makes you happy. Only you can make you happy.
