PayU appoints Laurent Le Moal as new global CEO

PayU, one of the world’s largest payment services platforms, has appointed Laurent Le Moal as its new global CEO. PayU has operations in 16 countries and is part of the leading global media and internet group, Naspers. LeMoal would be reporting directly to Naspers’ Group CEO, Bob Van Dijk. Le Moal joins the team with an 11 year experience with rival company PayPal and would be building the company’s position in growing markets around the world and developing payment solutions which meet market needs for both consumers and merchants.

PayU has its subsidiary PayUIndia based out of Delhi which operates through PayUIndia and PayUMoney and manages small and medium level businesses get access to payments through its platform.
