ISB, Deakin University ink three year MoU for collaboration

Indian School of Business and Australia’s Deakin University have agreed to collaborate in research, teaching, student exchange programmes, internationalising curriculum, and developing innovative approaches to meet international accreditation standards. The Hyderabad-based private business school has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Melbourne-based university for a three-year partnership starting October 2015.

The two institutions will conduct joint research, teaching and engagements in areas of common interest, including the provision of opportunities for further internationalising the curricula of business programmes offered by ISB and Deakin Business School (DBS).

Under the teaching and learning activities, the partners have already begun to engage in academic collaboration including exchange of resource material that are of mutual interest. Through Deakin India Research Initiative (DIRI), Deakin provides a full tuition fee waiver of approximately Australian $90,000, or about Rs 42 lakh.
